Rusev Reacts To Becky Lynch’s Bloody Nose

Last night’s episode of Raw was capped off in a fantastic way as WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch led her blue-blooded women in a raid on the red brand’s female locker room. She started with her Survivor Series opponent and Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey, locking her in the Disarm-Her before marching down to the ring, instigating the invasion.

To make her look all the more badass by sheer dumb luck, the ‘Irish Lasskicker’ was bloodied early on in the brawl by a rumored stay elbow from Nia Jax and it looked incredible. I’m not talking like a dribble from her nose or a small cut above the eye here. Her entire face – and subsequently her hands after she tried to wipe it all away – looked like a scene from Carrie as she was absolutely covered in the thick red miracle juice.

Rusev, keeping kayfabe alive and siding with his SmackDown sisters, took to Twitter to comment on the accidental spot that may have broken Lynch’s nose:

Clearly, the ‘Bulgarian Brute’ sees what we all see and that is that Becky Lynch is ‘The Man’ and the bona fide future of the women’s division in WWE. She is the talk of the industry and deserves every moment of it. If she loses to Rousey on Sunday like many expect her to, it will be a crying shame as the promotion has captured genuine lightning (or straight fire) in a bottle with Lynch.

If she wins, however, not only will it solidify Lynch as this generation’s Stone Cold Steve Austin but it will also provide a chink in Rousey’s UFC armor and forevermore make her beatable. Her matches will become more unpredictable and therefore even better.

Or they could kickstart the Four Horsewomen of MMA vs. Four Horsewomen of WWE feud that we’ve been clambering for… yeah, I’d be happy with that.
