AEW Star Comments On Double Or Nothing Main Event AEW

An AEW star has commented on the AEW Double Or Nothing main event.

Over the past several weeks, AEW’s “Four Pillars” have been feuding with one another in a quest to become the AEW World Champion. Sammy Guevara, Darby Allin and “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry have all set their sights on AEW World Champion MJF.

On the April 19 edition of AEW Dynamite, Guevara defeated Perry via countout to advance to face Allin thanks to an assist from Maxwell Jacob Friedman. The following week, MJF helped Sammy beat Darby via disqualification to give Guevara a shot at the title.

Friedman and Guevara made a deal for Sammy to lie down for MJF at the pay-per-view, but Allin and Perry then defeated the two villains on the May 3 episode to make the Double Or Nothing main event a four-way match.

On the newest episode of his vlog, Guevara shared his thoughts on the upcoming four-way title match at the pay-per-view. He said:

“The main event of Double or Nothing is official, Fatal Four-Way for the world title, myself versus MJF versus Jungle Boy versus Darby. I’m excited.”

“This is definitely one of the biggest matches for me. I went from the Buy-In with Kip Sabian four, almost five years ago. Now here we are, gonna be in the main event for the world title of AEW.”

“I just want to thank everybody who got me to this point. If you support these videos, if you supported me by getting my merch when I was on the indies and I really needed the money, thank you.”

Guevara continued on to reveal that he will be stopping the vlog for a few weeks to focus on his upcoming bout, saying:

“If you support the vlog now and you leave comments, you’ve shared the video, liked the video, any way you support me, whether it be monetarily or just hitting a like on a video, it all goes a long way.”

“With that said, I want to make sure I give this match 100% of my focus, so we are gonna be stopping the vlog for a couple weeks.”

“We’re just three weeks away from the pay-per-view and the first video back will be the Double or Nothing vlog. I want to put 100% of my focus in the gym, in the ring, and do everything in my power to add another belt [to my wall].”

The card for this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite is as follows:

Open House Rules match for the AEW Trios Championship – House of Black (c) vs. Bandido & Best Friends

AEW International Championship – Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Daniel Garcia
