WWE has announced that WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Naomi have been suspended and stripped of the Women’s Tag Team Championship.
On tonight’s (May 20) episode of SmackDown, Michael Cole spoke about the incident, claiming that Sasha and Naomi ‘disappointed millions of fans, and their fellow WWE superstars’.
Cole then announced that Sasha Banks and Naomi had been suspended, and a tournament will begin to crown the new Women’s Tag Team Champions.
