The bitter rivalry between AEW stars Serena Deeb and Hikaru Shida seemingly came to an end on last night’s (April 27) episode of AEW Dynamite, when Deeb bested Shida in a Philadelphia Street Fight.
Serena may have walked away the winner, but she didn’t walk away unharmed, as she has shown off a brutal eye wound she suffered during the match.
Serena shared a photo of her wound on Twitter, alongside the caption:
All I need is one eye.
Deeb’s victory seemingly sets her up for an AEW Women’s World Championship clash with Thunder Rosa at AEW Double or Nothing next month. Also announced for the PPV on last night’s show was an AEW World Championship match, which sees Adam Page defend against CM Punk.
Deeb is currently undefeated in AEW in the year 2022. For a full list of all win/loss records in the AEW women’s division for 2022, click here.
