A screenshot has been doing the rounds seemingly showing WWE star Seth Rollins watching the AEW Double or Nothing media scrum online.
Following Sunday’s (March 29) pay-per-view, AEW President Tony Khan answered questions from media reps in attendance, with the likes of CM Punk, Jade Cargill and Chris Jericho also speaking during the post-event press conference.
A Twitter user has shared a screenshot from the livestream of the media scrum showing ‘@WWERollins’ joining. @WWERollins is indeed the Twitter handle of WWE Raw star Seth Rollins.
Rollins watching AEW content is no crime against humanity as some tribalistic fans would have you believe, especially as a number of Rollins’ ex-colleagues and friends work for the promotion.
It is somewhat amusing however, as Rollins has publically referred to AEW as the ‘minor leagues‘ in the past, and earlier this year argued that the way AEW stars reference WWE on TV ‘reeks of desperation‘.
Rollins is also slated to face former AEW EVP Cody Rhodes inside Hell in a Cell during this Sunday’s pay-per-view.
In the main event of Double or Nothing, CM Punk defeated Hangman Page to win the AEW World Championship.
