Several AEW Stars Announced For ROH Death Before Dishonor

Ahead of ROH Death Before Dishonor, much of the card had remained a mystery. Find out which AEW stars have been revealed to be at the event.

While the ROH pay-per-view ROH Death Before Dishonor is set for tomorrow, Friday July 21, 2023, there had not previously been many matches announced in advance.

However, the card has come together on tonight’s edition of ROH on the Ring of Honor app including several new matches announced featuring AEW stars.

After Mark Briscoe was out of action due to a knee injury, there wasn’t a clear ROH World Championship contender until last night’s AEW Dynamite featuring the 2023 edition of the Blood & Guts match with champ Claudio Castagnoli.

While PAC may have started the match on team Blackpool Combat Club, by the end he had fully abandoned the team.

Later on social media, Castagnoli versus PAC for the ROH World Championship was confirmed, adding to the other known match of the ROH Women’s Champion Athena taking on AEW star Willow Nightingale.

On tonight’s ROH, other matches were announced featuring AEW stars including ROH tag team champs Lucha Bros (Rey Fenix & Pentagon Jr.) taking on Aussie Open (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher) and The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) and Best Friends(Trent Beretta & Chuck Taylor) for the ROH Tag Team Championship.

Also, Katsuyori Shibata will defend his ROH Pure Championship against former foe Daniel Garcia in a Pure Rules match.

Samoa Joe is set to defend his ROH Television Championship against Dalton Castle.

Mogul Embassy (Brian Cage, Kaun and Toa Liona) defend their ROH Six Man Championship against Master Wato, Leon Ruffin & Ryusuke Taguchi.

In non-title action, Gravity is set to take on Komander and the Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, John Silver and Evil Uno) will take on The Righteous (Vincent, Dutch and Stu Grayson).

Also announced for the pre-show, Action Andretti and Darius Martin versus the Workhorsemen, AR Fox taking on Shane Taylor, Josh Woods in action against Tracy Williams and Leyla Hirsh versus Trish Adora.
