A shocking opening to AEW Dynamite tonight as a top AEW star is reportedly sent to the hospital after a a “disturbing” attack.
To kick off tonight’s AEW Dynamite (March 22) a report by commentary that the Young Bucks, Nick and Matt Jackson were attacked backstage ahead of the show.
While there was no footage of the event, there was footage of Brandon Cutler going “with Matt,” and asking Hangman Adam Page to make sure someone goes with Nick as a first ambulance sped away.
Hangman not only made sure Nick didn’t go alone, he accompanied him personally!
Later in the show it was noted that the Blackpool Combat Club was responsible for the attack. You can read more about that by clicking this link.
Elsewhere scheduled for the show, a big dream match between Kenny Omega and El Hijo Del Vikingo as well as a massive opening match.
In the first match of the night, a big six man battle pitting Orange Cassidy, Darby Allin and Sting against Kip Sabian, The Butcher and the Blade with Penelope Ford at ringside.
