SmackDown Star ‘Welcomes’ Carlito Back Following WWE Fastlane Return

Former Intercontinental Champion Carlito made his return to WWE at last night’s (October 7) WWE Fastlane premium live event.

Carlito was revealed as the newest member of the LWO, when he was the third partner of Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar against Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits on the show.

Following his return, it was revealed that Carlito will be a part of the SmackDown roster going forward, and one SmackDown star has already welcomed him to the brand.

Taking to Twitter, Grayson Waller welcomed Carlito to the brand, noting that ‘Carlito’s Cabana’ is a poor man’s Grayson Waller Effect.

He wrote:

Waller has been a part of a tag team with Austin Theory on the show, where they have been undefeated as a tag team.

Theory lost to Dragon Lee in Lee’s SmackDown debut on this week’s episode of the show.

Carlito had reportedly been signed to a WWE contract over the Summer, with the company waiting for the perfect time to bring him back on screen.
