Sol Ruca is reportedly still set to appear at this Sunday’s WWE Clash in Italy 2026 premium live event despite being “banged up” during her last match with Becky Lynch at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
With just two days to go until her Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match against Becky Lynch in Turin, Italy, there has been continued speculation regarding the injury status of Sol Ruca.
During a backstage interview segment with Lynch on Monday’s WWE Raw (May 25), Cathy Kelley confirmed that Ruca had suffered injuries during her disqualification win over “The Man” at last week’s Saturday Night’s Main Event.
While no official announcement regarding the nature of the injuries has been made by WWE, Becky Lynch raised more eyebrows when she claimed today on social media that Sol Ruca was not “medically cleared” to compete at Clash in Italy.
In a post on Twitter, Lynch wrote:
I told Sol Puka (cause she makes me want to puke!!!!!) she wasn’t ready to step in the ring with me and she didn’t listen!!!!!
I hope she make it to Italy although she’s not medically cleared! Some people think it’s because she LOST HER MIND!
Despite Lynch’s claims, PWInsiderElite is reporting that Ruca is in fact travelling to Italy for this Sunday’s PLE, despite being “banged up” coming out of Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The report reads as follows:
In regard to Becky Lynch saying Sol Ruca was not medically cleared to wrestle, Ruca got banged up at the Saturday Night’s Main Event match.
However, WWE sources indicated to PWInsiderElite.com this afternoon that Ruca is traveling to Italy for the Clash in Italy event today. So, Ruca will be there.
Will Sol Ruca’s Crowning Moment Be Pushed Back?
Sol Ruca’s WWE main roster introduction has not quite gone the way many fans would have imagined thus far.
While the former NXT Women’s North American Champion has immediately been mixing it up with top WWE stars like Liv Morgan, IYO SKY and now, Becky Lynch, Ruca has yet to pick up a proper win in her first six weeks as a Monday Night Raw superstar.
Two notable botched attempts at her Sol Snatcher finishing move has only added to the misfortune. And now with her injury woes, it is beginning to feel like she’s facing an uphill battle in her attempt to recapture her momentum from NXT.
This negativity could be entirely wiped away should Ruca defeat Lynch for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title at Clash in Italy, however, if Ruca is hurt, it may be wiser for WWE to delay her crowning moment.
Just four years into her pro wrestling journey, Ruca likely has many, many championships in her future and WWE has shown no reason for fans to believe otherwise, despite her questionable booking on Raw thus far.
