WWE has edited and shared a new version of the botched Sol Snatcher to Becky Lynch by Sol Ruca on tonight’s episode of Raw.

Tonight’s WWE Raw played host to former NXT star Ruca signing her new Raw contract, with an in-ring meeting between her and General Manager Adam Pearce interrupted by Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch.

The confrontation ended with Lynch accidentally punching Pearce when she was aiming for Ruca, with Ruca then following up with a Sol Snatcher to Lynch.

However, Ruca slipped and stumbled on the ropes while stepping up for the Sol Snatcher – a mistake that led to WWE not immediately sharing a clip of the moment online.

Now, WWE has posted edited versions of the Sol Snatcher across social media, with the slip/stumble cut out so it looks like the move went smoothly as intended. You can see the edited version in this YouTube clip.

Does Sol Ruca Need A More Reliable Finisher On The WWE Main Roster

There could be a multitude of reasons tonight’s Sol Snatcher to Becky Lynch from Sol Ruca didn’t go as planned – perhaps the ropes were slippy, perhaps Ruca’s footwear or clothing wasn’t ideal to pull it off, or maybe there was something else at play.

However, this is far from the first time Ruca hasn’t been able to pull off the move 100% smoothly, and while she does get it right the majority of the time, it may not be reliable enough now that she’s on WWE Raw.

With a much bigger stage and audience now – and less forgiving crowds than the NXT regulars at the Performance Center – Ruca may not be able to afford many more slip ups like tonight.

While the Sol Snatcher is great for viral clips, it might be best to keep it in the holster for particularly big moments, almost as a ‘super finisher,’ and establish something more reliable to use on a weekly basis.
