Sol Ruca Appears On WWE Raw After WrestleMania 42, Interrupts Liv Morgan WWE

NXT star and former Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca made an appearance on tonight’s WWE Raw after WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

Liv Morgan and the rest of Judgment Day were in the ring celebrating Morgan’s Women’s World Championship win against Stephanie Vaquer at WrestleMania.

Ruca interrupted, saying that Morgan is her inspiration and she didn’t come out to pick a fight, but she also wouldn’t back down from one as Morgan clearly wasn’t happy about being interrupted.

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce then came onto the stage and made the match official for right now – Ruca vs Morgan.

Ruca landed her Sol Snatcher finisher on Morgan but Morgan ran out of the ring. Ruca then landing a massive dive onto Judgment Day, but with the referee distracted, Zaria showed up and ambushed her at ringside, which allowed Morgan to capitalize and score the win.

Previously, Ruca made it to the final three of this year’s WWE Royal Rumble match behind runner up Tiffany Stratton and winner Liv Morgan.

Also, in December, Ruca picked up a win against Bayley in a match on John Cena’s last show at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

On tomorrow night’s week two of NXT Revenge show, Ruca has a Last Woman Standing match against Zaria.

It isn’t yet confirmed that Ruca is fully called up from NXT to the WWE Raw roster, like it was with Ethan Page earlier in the night who defeated Je’Von Evans.

We’ll keep you posted as any updates on Ruca’s status emerge.

Sol Ruca’s WWE Trajectory

It certainly seems like Sol Rua could be on a similar trajectory to Tiffany Stratton, who was called up to the WWE main roster in January 2024, won the Money in the Bank ladder match a few months later, then cashed in to become WWE Women’s Champion going on to defend at WrestleMania against Charlotte Flair.

If all goes well, Ruca may well have a similar path to becoming champion in the future.

Certainly, she wouldn’t be involved in the Women’s World Championship picture this early if there weren’t high hopes for her.
