Bianca Belair has commented on her pregnancy announcement she made at WWE WrestleMania 42 night one on Saturday.
It has now been a year since Bianca Belair was last in in-ring competition in WWE, with her coming up short against IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 41.
Bianca missed months of action due to an injured finger, with her recently undergoing surgery earlier this year.
Bianca Belair Announces Pregnancy At WrestleMania 42
On WrestleMania 42 night one, Bianca made a surprise appearance on the show, coming out during John Cena’s announcement of the attendance to announce that she was pregnant with her and Montez Ford’s first child together.
Taking to Instagram today, Bianca commented on her pregnancy announcement, reflecting on her difficult past year.
She wrote:
Same venue. Different result. This year. I win. 🤰🏽🍼🥹 @montezfordwwe #wrESTleMania
I was so nervous to pop my little private bubble and share this moment but I’m so overwhelmed and truly overjoyed with the outpouring love and support. I was literally shaking and crying backstage before I came out.
This year has been so hard in ways you guys just REALLY don’t even know but everything TRULY happens for a reason. There has been so many twists and turns but ending here has made it all worth it. I’ll be back! But until then enjoy this ride with me! 💋
We send our congratulations to Bianca and Montez following their exciting announcement.
Changes To WWE Plans Following Bianca Belair’s Absence
Coming out of WrestleMania 41, it seemed as though WWE didn’t expect Bianca to miss a great deal of time with her finger injury that ultimately kept her out for many months.
Following Jade Cargill’s Queen of the Ring victory, many believed that she would ultimately challenge Bianca Belair for the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam last year, which didn’t end up happening, with Jade instead challenging Tiffany Stratton in a losing effort.
After Jade’s WWE Women’s Championship victory, many believed that she would then go on to defend the title against Bianca at WrestleMania 42, which ultimately didn’t end up happening due to Bianca’s pregnancy.
Rhea Ripley would instead win the Elimination Chamber match to earn the shot at Jade’s title, with Rhea picking up the win to capture the WWE Women’s Championship in Las Vegas.
