More WWE Stars To Retire After Brock Lesnar WWE

At the WWE WrestleMania 42 premium live event, Oba Femi defeated Brock Lesnar in what was the biggest win of his career so far.

After the match, Lesnar removed his gloves and boots leaving them in the ring before having an emotional embrace with his longtime manager Paul Heyman and saying goodbye to the fans.

Seeing this as an unofficial retirement, WWE could look to see who will be the next stars to retire following in the footsteps of Lesnar.

Here are six more WWE stars to potentially retire after Brock Lesnar.

6. Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio is widely regarded as the greatest Mexican star to ever step foot in a WWE ring.

Considered by many to be an all-time great, Mysterio’s legacy is already cemented and has already seen him inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

At the age of 51, Mysterio still seems like he has a lot left in the tank, but the injuries have also added up over time and could mark the end of his career sometime soon.

Mysterio retiring next should be a huge moment that many fans will remember for years to come regardless of who it is against.

5. R-Truth

In 2025, the wrestling world was in shock to learn that R-Truth’s WWE contract had expired, marking the end of his time with the promotion.

However, Truth would then make his return soon thereafter and re-signed a new deal in the process.

Since then, Truth has formed a new duo with Damian Priest to defeat The MFTs to win the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Despite being a current champion, Truth could be winding down his career and thinking about his retirement at 54 years old right now.

4. AJ Lee

At WrestleMania 42 Night One, Becky Lynch defeated AJ Lee to win the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

The legend made her return to WWE in September 2025 and has since become one of the biggest female stars in the company once again.

Following her loss at Mania, Lee hinted at this being the end of the road for her time in WWE after getting the closure that she needed in her wrestling career.

Lee retiring for a second time could happen sooner rather than later and see her go out on her own terms once again.

3. Becky Lynch

Speaking of AJ Lee, her main rival over the past year has been Becky Lynch with the two women trading back-and-forths as well as doing battle multiple times.

“The Man” has solidified herself as one of the greatest female stars in WWE history and has done a great job in putting over young talent as of late.

In the second season of WWE Unreal, Lynch mentioned that she signed her last contract with the company.

With this potentially being her final deal with the promotion, Becky could be winding down her legendary run with WWE in the very near future.

2. Randy Orton

As of late, WWE has seen the retirement of John Cena, AJ Styles and potentially Brock Lesnar.

Considering his connection to all three of these men, Randy Orton is the individual that most fans are looking to who may retire in the future.

At 46 years old, “The Legend Killer” has accomplished a lot as a 14-time world champion and headlining WrestleMania on multiple occasions.

Orton retiring at some point seems like a foregone conclusion in the next few years to put a bow on a Hall of Fame worthy career.

1. CM Punk

Another sure-fire Hall of Fame inductee in the future who could be winding down his career is CM Punk.

“The Best In The World” made his return in 2023 and has since established himself once again as one of the top stars in all of WWE today.

With everything that he has accomplished including headlining WrestleMania the past two years, Punk has checked every box for everything he always wanted in WWE.

Considering his age and all of his accolades, it seems likely that Punk will contemplate retirement before long and could be the next major one for WWE.
