The opening match of the night saw Femi score a decisive win against Lesnar, after which Lesnar took off his gloves and boots to leave them in the ring, seemingly retiring in the process.
After the end of Mania itself, Femi appeared for an interview on the official WWE WrestleMania post-show, where he said:
“It feels amazing, because it’s one thing to tell everybody what you are, and another to show everybody exactly what you are.
“I took 25 years of history, 25 years of dominance from the Beast and made it null, because I am what I say I am.
“The Ruler, the Destroyer, the Bringer of War, Oba Femi!”

Oba Femi To Dethrone Roman Reigns
There can be no doubts now that WWE is truly behind Oba Femi – he just beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania in what seems to be Lesnar’s last ever match.
That would not have happened if the company wasn’t 100% certain he’s the guy to get behind.
Will he be the one that dethrones Roman Reigns as World Heavyweight Champion? It certainly looks that way.
