Danhausen Shares Moment With John Cena At WWE WrestleMania 42, Takes Out Kit Wilson & The Miz WWE

Danhausen got his interaction with John Cena at tonight’s WWE WrestleMania 42 night two event in Las Vegas.

John Cena came out and announced the attendance for tonight and also the two-night attendance, which he said was 106,072.

He was then interrupted by The Miz and Kit Wilson, who wanted their own WrestleMania moment.

Cena said that was fine with him and gave them the ring, but they were cut off by the entrance of Danhausen, who had many mini Dahausens with him.

Danhausen and the mini Danhausens joined Cena, Wilson and Miz in the ring, with Danhausen shaking Cena’s hand and saying he’s a big Fanhausen.

Kit Wilson then very rudely shoved over one of the mini Danhausens, which led to Danhausen directing one of them to punch him in the crown jewels and then all of them dogpiled him.

Danhausen himself then took out The Miz, including his own version of the Five Knuckle Shuffle.

Danhausen then did the You Can’t See Me taunt to John Cena before a few sparks of pyro went off and he ‘disappeared’ by jumping out of the ring and crawling underneath, which was very funny.

Cena then proclaimed that retired life is great, clearly enjoying the fact that he had a lighthearted role on the show.

Was there any doubt that Danhausen and John Cena would encounter each other at WWE WrestleMania 42?

It was the sort of moment that WWE would have been a fool to miss. Cena has demonstrated his humorous side on more than one occasion, be it during his in-ring career or through movie and television projects, and Danhausen’s character has proven to be excessively popular after a somewhat rocky start at this year’s Royal Rumble.

Humor is often hit-and-miss, but Danhausen has found exactly the right tone to hit that doesn’t otherwise derail proceedings, and Cena proved to be the perfect foil for his outlandish ways as the host of WrestleMania 42.

With many a WWE star falling foul of a Danhausen curse, the conceit could fall short in less playful hands, but from Kit Wilson to IShowSpeed and beyond, this has all worked on screen and on social media, with WrestleMania being a major opportunity for the former AEW star to shine.

Did it need to happen? Of course not. Cena could have just been the host and nothing more, but there’s never been any indication that the record-breaking World Champion is anything other than a good sport when it comes to doing what’s best for business.

Danhausen has done something remarkable in WWE, making his debut as the person inside a shipping container at the Royal Rumble, the moment was derided by many online critics, but the course was rapidly corrected with the right stars aligning to showcase the comedic genius of the newly signed star.

A single WWE match to date, with a victory over Kit Wilson on the April 10 episode of SmackDown, Danhausen is proving to be an asset in other capacities, and long may that last.
