Oba Femi Speaks On WWE Raw After WrestleMania 42 Following Brock Lesnar Win – ‘Your Ruler Has Arrived’

Tonight’s WWE Raw after WrestleMania 42 kicked off with the man who defeated Brock Lesnar in seemingly his final match – Oba Femi.

Femi opened the show, heading to the ring with his signature strut and the crowd singing his name, as has become common occurrence.

In the ring, the chants continued and Femi invited them as he stood in the ring.

Femi then spoke, but only briefly – his post WrestleMania words being:

“Your Ruler has arrived.”

He then dropped the mic and left to yet another big reaction from the crowd in attendance.

Speaking on the Mania post-show yesterday, Femi said he planned to target Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship come the summer or the end of the year.

The first match of tonight’s Raw saw new WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY face the Kabuki Warriors.

WWE Needs To Waste No Time With Oba Femi

It is very evident now that WWE is completely behind Oba Femi – you don’t beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania in seemingly his last match if that isn’t the case.

However, the follow-up is very important, and with the way WWE draws things out nowadays, the company does need to make sure his rise to the top isn’t too slow to the point the momentum fizzles out before he actually gets the chance to get there.

This mistake has been made in the past, and while his popularity hasn’t diminished, there’s an argument that someone like LA Knight isn’t quite as over as he was at one point.

However, as noted, it does appear WWE is aware of this and is going to make sure Femi’s rise is meteoric as it should be.
