‘Holy S**t!’ – WWE’s Triple H Comments On Oba Femi Defeating Brock Lesnar At WrestleMania 42 WWE

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has commented on Oba Femi defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42 Night Two.

The opening match of the April 19 show saw Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi finally lock horns, following weeks of confrontations on WWE Raw.

Oba Femi was ultimately victorious, pinning Brock Lesnar in under five minutes to score the biggest victory of his career.

Triple H has now taken to Twitter to comment on Oba Femi’s WrestleMania debut.

Praising the young star, the CCO wrote:

HOLY S***!!!!!

THAT is a #WrestleMania debut. 🔥🔥🔥

This match was just Oba Femi’s eighth match as a main roster talent, with the Nigerian star officially called up in January, making his main roster debut as part of the Royal Rumble match.

Since then, Oba Femi scored victories against the likes of Kit Wilson, The Miz, Johnny Gargano and Rusev en route to defeating The Beast at WrestleMania.

Brock Lesnar appeared to indicate that he was retiring following the match, leaving his gloves and boots in the ring and hugging Paul Heyman.

WWE has yet to officially confirm Lesnar’s retirement, we will continue to provide updates on his status as they become available.

Brock Lesnar removing his gloves and boots was met with skepticism from fans, following rumors that Lesnar would actually be retiring at SummerSlam in August, which is set to emanate from his hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

With Lesnar vs GUNTHER previously teased, and GUNTHER having a career-killer gimmick, many fans predicted that the Ring General would be the one to force Lesnar to step away from the ring for good.

While it would make sense to add to GUNTHER’s tally of retirement matches, if Oba Femi does end up being The Beast’s final opponent, the recently-called-up star will have just received a massive endorsement from Lesnar and WWE.
