Jade Cargill is seeking revenge and a rematch against Rhea Ripley, having lost the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42.
Night 2 of WrestleMania 42 saw Jade Cargill face off against Rhea Ripley in the penultimate match of the April 19 WWE Premium Live Event.
With Ripley capturing the WWE Women’s Championship, Cargill isn’t going to let the loss go, targeting a rematch in the future.
Speaking to JC Hernandez for 8 News Now Las Vegas, Cargill made her intentions clear, seeking revenge, saying:
“You know what? It’s okay because I’m going to get my revenge and get that rematch”
“(When will it happen?) “I don’t know. I think you need to call up Triple H and make that happen.”

Cargill would go on to reflect upon her experience at WrestleMania 42 and the reaction she received from the fans, stating:
“I’ve never been featured on Night 2, I’ve always been Night 1, so this is my first time, my first rodeo on Night 2.
“I think we did a stellar job. I think my entrance was amazing. I think the energy at Allegiant Stadium was electric.
“It was cool. I liked it. The crowd was coming for me; they hated me, I love that for me. Keep hating me. But it was cool, I really liked it, the atmosphere was amazing.
“Okay, I didn’t deliver, but I’m gonna get that rematch.”

Last night’s WWE Raw, the first after WrestleMania 42, saw Rhea Ripley bid farewell to both IYO SKY and Raw, with the new Women’s Champion heading to SmackDown with the title, with Cargill being a member of that brand’s roster.
What Next For Jade Cargill?
A rematch was always on the cards, with the next major stop on the calendar being WWE Backlash on May 9 presenting an ideal opportunity to showcase such an encounter.
A two-time Women’s Tag Team Champion, Cargill is unlikely to be reuniting with Bianca Belair anytime soon, as the latter revealed her pregnancy at WrestleMania 42 this past weekend, although her alliance with B-Fab and Michin could potentially play into future tag team plans.
There’s little downside to having Cargill chase Ripley for the WWE Women’s Championship, keeping the former AEW star in the main event picture, but opportunities exist to do something new with the powerhouse star and her cohorts.
Potentially viewed as a step in the wrong direction for someone who has held the top title, a feud over the WWE Women’s United States Championship, currently held by Giulia, could be an option, as could a run in AAA, which would give her a fresh audience and raft of opportunities.
For now, Cargill is likely to be on a collision course with Ripley once again, although there will be many other members of the SmackDown women’s roster ready to prove their championship challenging credentials.
