On May 23, WWE will present its latest Saturday Night’s Main Event from Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The company has already announced Penta defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Ethan Page and The Vision vs The Street Profits for the World Tag Team Title.

With a little over a week before the show, WWE will certainly schedule even more matches for the card for this special show on Peacock.

Here are six more matches to be potentially added to WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. IYO SKY

On the April 27 edition of Monday Night Raw, Becky Lynch defeated IYO SKY to retain the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship thanks to interference from Asuka.

This led to IYO beating Asuka in a singles bout at the WWE Backlash 2026 premium live event.

After the match, Asuka got emotional and hugged SKY with tears in her eyes before seemingly passing the torch to her former protege.

Now that Asuka is out of the way, IYO can now focus on getting some revenge on Lynch for her previous loss and the disparaging remarks ‘The Man’ has made about her in recent weeks at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

WWE Tag Team Championship: Damian Priest & R-Truth (c) vs. The MFTs (Solo Sikoa & Talla Tonga)

Over the past few weeks, The MFTs have made it perfectly clear that their sights are on the WWE Tag Team Championship.

Damian Priest and R-Truth defeated The MFTs to win the WWE Tag Team Championship and have successfully defended the gold against a unit representing the faction as well.

Now that the group has been dwindled down, Solo Sikoa and Talla Tonga can take matters into their own hands.

Talla’s win over Priest on the May 8 SmackDown could have put The MFTs in line to get a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championship on the May 23 Saturday Night’s Main Event.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Paige & Brie Bella (c) vs. Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid)

On the April 24 WWE SmackDown after WrestleMania 42, Fatal Influence made their main roster debut by attacking Paige, Brie Bella, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair during their tag team match.

Since then, Fatal Influence have made it no secret that they want to get their hands on all the gold in the women’s division right now.

Meanwhile, Paige and Brie are not backing down from any challenge they face in the women’s tag team scene.

Paige and Brie defending the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid could make for a tough test and might just see new champions being crowned in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh) vs. Finn Balor & Rey Mysterio

Ever since The Judgment Day excommunicated him from the group, Finn Balor has been looking for revenge on his former stablemates.

At WWE WrestleMania 42 night two, Balor defeated Dominik Mysterio in a Street Fight.

After picking up a win over his former tag team partner on the April 20 WWE Raw after WrestleMania 42, Balor lost to JD McDonagh thanks to interference from Roxanne Perez and a bell hammer.

Looking to even the odds, Balor could look to a longtime Judgment Day rival and Dominik’s father Rey Mysterio to team with him against his former stablemates at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker – No Holds Barred Match

At WWE Backlash 2026, Bron Breakker defeated Seth Rollins in what was the biggest victory of his young career so far.

This loss hasn’t deterred Rollins from continuing his vendetta against The Vision and wanting to destroy what he created.

After interfering and costing The Vision their six-man tag team match against Joe Hendry and the Street Profits on the May 11 WWE Raw, Rollins could look to get his rematch against Breakker sooner rather than later.

In a Backlash rematch, Rollins could go at it with Breakker again with a No Holds Barred stipulation on this occasion to finally settle the score.

WWE Women’s Championship: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Jade Cargill

At the WrestleMania 42 premium live event, Rhea Ripley defeated Jade Cargill to win the WWE Women’s Championship.

Following several weeks away from WWE TV, Cargill made her return to the company by costing Ripley, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair their six-woman tag match against Fatal Influence on the May 8 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

Alongside B-Fab and Michin, Cargill laid out Ripley, Bliss and Flair to send a message to the new WWE Women’s Champion.

This could set the stage for a Mania rematch between Rhea and Jade for the May 23 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
