Bron Breakker scored the win against Seth Rollins in the opening match of tonight’s WWE Backlash 2026 premium live event in Tampa.

The story reiterated on commentary throughout the match was that of Rollins trying to stop the rise of Breakker, which was noted as a theme of the entire PLE with the likes of Roman Reigns vs Jacob Fatu and Sami Zayn vs Trick Williams having a similar feel.

Rollins managed to kick out of one Spear from Breakker, but after two more, the win went to Breakker.

After Rollins managed to fight off both Austin Theory and Logan Paul of The Vision, Breakker countered an attempted avalanche Curb Stomp from Rollins with a Spear, and then for good measure, followed up with another Spear for the win.

This victory firmly establishes Breakker as a top player on WWE Raw in his first match since January, potentially even putting him in title contention in the not too distant future.

New Members Joining The Vision Following Backlash?

Coming out of Backlash, we could see The Vision stable recruit more names to its ranks as an official unit headed by Bron Breakker.

In the background of recent WWE Raw segments, Maxxine Dupri has been spotted talking to Austin Theory, seemingly teasing a potential alliance between the two in the future, and potentially Maxxine becoming the first female member of the Vision.

Jordynne Grace also recently noted that she had been pitching to become the first Paul Heyman Girl, with her currently not factored into anything on the SmackDown roster, making her a good fit for the group.

Another great choice for a new member of the Vision is new NXT call up Ethan Page, who has already entered the Intercontinental Championship picture on Monday nights.
