WWE has filed its latest series of trademarks including terms related to Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, John Cena and more.

Reigns, Fatu and Cena are all set to be part of WWE Backlash tonight, with Reigns and Fatu facing each other for the World Heavyweight Championship, and Cena making a supposedly “history-making” announcement.

On May 8, WWE filed to trademark Head of the Table, a Roman Reigns nickname, with the following description:

Clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; footwear, namely, shoes, sneakers, slippers, flip flops, boots; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands as clothing; bandanas

WWE also filed to trademark a Jacob Fatu nickname, Samoan Werewolf, with this description:

Another WWE trademark filing was for a John Cena catchphrase, Earn The Day, which came with the following description:

WWE Tournament Returning?

And last but not least, WWE has filed to trademark NXT Global Heritage Invitational, which is the name of a tournament that was held in 2023 to determine the #1 contender for Noam Dar’s Heritage Cup Championship at the time.

This could just be a filing for archival purposes, or alternatively, could indicate a planned return for the tournament after Dar’s recent return from injury, especially considering he had to vacate the title when he was injured last year.

That filing was made with the following description:

Entertainment services, namely, a show about professional wrestling; entertainment services, namely, the production and exhibition of professional wrestling events rendered through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing wrestling news and information through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information

Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo is still officially recognized as the Heritage Cup Champion, though he hasn’t had the trophy for almost a year because Tony D’Angelo threw it off a bridge.
