Lexis King won the vacant WWE Men’s Speed Championship in the tournament final on tonight’s WWE NXT Revenge Night Two show.
Prior to NXT Stand & Deliver, Men’s Speed Champion Elio LeFleur announced that he had suffered an injury that would keep him 0ut of action for a number of months.
As such, NXT General Manager Robert Stone vacated the title, with a tournament beginning on television that would culminate at NXT Revenge night two.
Lexis King Wins WWE Men’s Speed Championship
On tonight’s show, the tournament final took place between Lexis King and EK Prosper, with King bringing the rest of his Birthright stablemates to ringside with him.
The numbers game would end up catching up to EK Prosper, with Lexis King picking up the win to become the new WWE Men’s Speed Champion.
This marks the second title of King’s WWE career, as he had previously reigned as the NXT Heritage Cup Champion.
The Birthright faction of King, Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo, Arianna Grace, Uriah Connors and Charlie Dempsey consists of second generation talent on the NXT roster.

WWE Main Roster Stars To Move To NXT
The past couple of weeks saw WWE SmackDown star Johnny Gargano return to NXT to challenge Myles Borne for the North American Championship at Stand & Deliver, as well as Los Americanos replacing Eli LeFleur and EK Prosper in the Tag Team Championship tournament.
It’s been quite common for main roster talents to return for brief stints in NXT over the past few years, which opens up the question as to who could be next to go in that direction.
If there’s anywhere that needs a boost in NXT right now, it seems to be the tag team division that could benefit from being heated up.
Some teams on the main roster don’t have a spot on TV at the moment, which could make them ideal candidates to work with the up and coming teams in NXT.
The likes of the War Raiders, the Creed Brothers, Alpha Academy and the Street Profits have been away from WWE Raw and SmackDown for extended periods of time and could be candidates for a run in NXT – not as a demotion, but just to get themselves back in action and give the NXT division a boost.
