Footage has emerged of CM Punk standing up to an individual in Las Vegas, after he was seen recording his wife AJ Lee and WWE star Bayley after WrestleMania 42.

The footage, which emerged today, shows the former World Heavyweight Champion slapping a phone out of a man’s hand in the lobby of the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas strip after he attempted to record AJ and Bayley hugging last night.

You can see the clip below that was published by TMZ:

After removing the phone from the man’s possession, CM Punk can be seen getting in his face before security and Punk’s close friend Ace Steel step in between the two.

After being led away from the scene, the man can then be heard apologizing, before Punk and AJ Lee walked away into the hotel.

Earlier in the night Punk lost the World Heavyweight Championship to Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 42 Sunday, a match that has been hailed by WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H as “one of the best matches he’s ever seen.”

‘Fans’ overstepping their bounds is sadly nothing new, and incidents where individuals invade the space of wrestlers are seemingly becoming more and more common, despite the many PSA’s from talent telling ‘fans’ to respect their personal space when out in public.

Recently former WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer issued a statement after a ‘fan’ shared footage on social media and claimed they had a negative experience when attempting to interact with the Raw star, only for Vaquer to share her own account of the situation which detailed how the fan had ignored her requests to be left alone.

There was also an incident this past weekend at WrestleCon as former WWE and now TNA star Elayna Black (Cora Jade) stated she’d been assaulted and posted a video afterwards.
