After several WWE personnel tested positive for COVID-19 recently, you’ve probably noticed an increased number of NXT talents wearing masks in the crowds.
On last night’s Raw especially, pretty much everyone behind the plexiglass was wearing one, and Fightful Select has unveiled a memo that the company sent out to talent regarding mask wearing.
The memo reads:
“As a reminder, wearing masks, sanitizing and social distancing will be required at the Performance Center this week and going forward. You’ll be required to wear a mask upon entering and we ask that you adhere to these requirements in order to minimize risks.”
You may have noticed during last night’s Raw that some talents in the crowd removed their masks at times, be it to convey emotion, chant, or for other reasons.
One of those was Rik Bugez, who first explained the importance of being able to convey emotion, but then noted that after learning more about the research behind COVID-19 testing, he would be keeping it on all the time from now.
