Swerve Strickland is set to face a first time ever opponent on this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite from Newark, New Jersey.
At AEW Worlds End, Swerve Strickland defeated Dustin Rhodes. This was a replacement match after Strickland’s original opponent Keith Lee wasn’t cleared to compete.
Coming off the heels of the AEW Continental Classic, many fans are watching Swerve closely to see what’s next for All Elite Wrestling’s fastest rising star.
On January 2, Tony Khan announced that Swerve Strickland will face another Continental Classic participant Daniel Garcia in a first time matchup on this Wednesday’s January 3 episode of AEW Dynamite. The tweet reads:

Also announced for this Wednesday’s show, Orange Cassidy will defend the AEW International Championship against Dante Martin.
Meanwhile, Mariah May will make her in-ring debut when she faces Queen Aminata.
