The Rock Has Contacted Paul Heyman Regarding Roman Reigns WWE Match

While speaking with Give Me Sport, Paul Heyman has confirmed that The Rock has contacted him directly to try and set up a big WWE match with Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Paul Heyman has claimed that celebrities and famous people in the sporting world have contacted him about wrestling Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, including The Rock:

“If I could show you one day’s worth of text messages, emails and calls that come into my phone from some of the biggest superstars in sports and entertainment on this planet, it would blow your mind.

“Crossover celebrities in their prime would love to step into a WrestleMania ring with Roman Reigns. It’s not just Dwayne Johnson. The Rock is just one of many.

“Top stars in many sports are yearning for the publicity, the notoriety, fame, legacy and money of main eventing WrestleMania with Roman Reigns.”

This is likely just kayfabe, as I’m sure that WWE would have taken the opportunity to book Roman Reigns vs. The Rock if it was presented to them, and it was reportedly something they were considering at a time.

As of right now, it appears as if Roman Reigns is going to be defending his Universal Championship against Edge at WrestleMania, although some have speculated that WWE could add Daniel Bryan to the match.
