While WWE fans may not get to see The Rock back in the ring at WrestleMania 39 this year, fans of the XFL were treated to an appearance of the Great One.
The first game of the new XFL season took place today on ABC, and it kicked off with an appearance from the Great One himself.
The Rock came out wearing an Arlington Renegades jersey, where he cut a promo on the league bringing opportunity to the players looking to live out their dreams.
The Rock became the new owner of the XFL back in August 2020, buying the league from Vince McMahon, who was the owner of the brand during both the 2001 and 2020 seasons.
After months of speculation, The Rock appears to not be wrestling at WrestleMania 39.
He reportedly told that company that he won’t be able to be in ring shape in time for the show.
Cody Rhodes will instead main event the show, with him set to take on either Roman Reigns or Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship/
