Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has opened up about what he believes is one of his biggest regrets from his time in WWE.
The Rock was undoubtedly one of the most successful wrestlers in WWE history. Surprisingly, The People’s Champion wishes that he did more while he was a full-time competitor.
“Hurricane” Shane Helms took to Twitter to discuss The Rock’s match with Booker T at SummerSlam 2001. Helms stated that he wished there were more matches between the two following the bout.
The Rock agreed with Helms, tweeting:
“Thank you, brother. I do too actually. One of my biggest regrets was not having a long run w Book. He was one of my fav workers and the best pure athlete I’ve ever wrestled. Fluid, sharp, believable movements and work style. I always say his moves had a rare swagger.”
The Rock and Booker T faced each other a handful of times after SummerSlam 2001, with their most recent singles encounter taking place in 2002.
Now a notable Hollywood actor, The Rock is set to star in Disney Jungle Cruise, which releases later this month. WWE is reportedly hoping to have The Rock return to the ring before the end of 2021.
Triple H has since commented on speculation surrounding the WWE returns of The Rock and John Cena.
