These WWE Legends Could Return For WrestleMania Weekend WWE

Two WWE legends who could make returns to the company during WrestleMania weekend in March/April 2023 have been revealed.

According to a new report from WrestleVotes, WWE is looking at holding more shows throughout WrestleMania weekend that are similar to the Undertaker’s 1 deadMAN shows.

According to WWE’s description, those shows “feature The Phenom in an intimate setting, sharing never-before-heard stories from his Hall of Fame career and taking questions from the WWE Universe in attendance”.

WrestleVotes noted that two names who have been discussed for hosting these kinds of shows on WrestleMania weekend are Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Trish Stratus.

Previous reports indicate that Austin has been heavily talked about for a role at WrestleMania itself, possibly even another match following the success of his outing with Kevin Owens earlier this year.

Stratus, on the other hand, does make appearances for WWE here-and-there for things like special anniversary shows, as well as house shows in her home country of Canada.

Stratus’ last match, which she called her retirement match at the time, came at SummerSlam in 2019 in a loss to Charlotte Flair.

WrestleMania 39 nights one and two take place on April 1 and 2, 2023.

WWE has released the schedule for WrestleMania weekend shows including the Hall of Fame and an NXT special, details of which can be found at this link.
