Injured AEW Star Reflects On Recovery From Injury AEW

An injured AEW star has reflected on their recovery from injury.

Thunder Rosa has been absent from AEW programming since suffering a serious back injury in August 2022.

All Elite Wresting’s new reality series, AEW: All Access, documented a portion of her recovery and getting back inside the ring. Her return has been included in the promotional material for AEW’s new weekly two-hour primetime show, AEW Collision, which is set to kick off on Saturday, June 17.

In a new interview with NBC Chicago, Rosa shared the latest update on her recovery from the back injury. She said:

“It’s going pretty well (recovery from injury). Things are going as they are supposed to go. I am super happy that I’ve been pain-free. That was the most important part. I think it took forever.”

“I think everybody’s expecting me to give them news. But, I am working out everyday, trying to get back in the ring as soon as possible and if it’s possible.”

Already announced for the premiere episode of AEW Collision, CM Punk will team up with AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR to face Samoa Joe and Bullet Club Gold’s Jay White and Juice Robinson in a six man tag team main event.
