Title Change At AEW Revolution 2024

Title Change At AEW Revolution 2024 AEW

There was a title change at tonight’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view event as the show continues from Greensboro, North Carolina.

After two successful title retentions already on the AEW Revolution 2024 card, there was a title change.

The International Championship was on the line when Orange Cassidy looked to defend the title against Roderick Strong.

After a physical match where Strong targeted Cassidy’s spine throughout, he was finally able to pick up the pinfall victory and capture his first AEW championship.

Roderick Strong beat Orange Cassidy to become the new AEW International Champion.

While one might assume that there was interference in the match, with Roderick Strong being a part of the dastardly heel faction comprised of himself, Adam Cole, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett, there was not.

In actuality, there were no shenanigans at ringside from the Undisputed Kingdom, rather Strong won the match entirely on his own.

However they did come out to celebrate with him after the win, as did another surprise friend from the past as Kyle O’Reilly made his return – he congratulated Strong, but didn’t commit to joining the Undisputed Kingdom.

Elsewhere during AEW Revolution, Christian Cage successfully retained his TNT Championship against Daniel Garcia.

Also, Eddie Kingston retained his Continental Crown Championship against Bryan Danielson and also earned a handshake from the American Dragon.
