Tommaso Ciampa Debuts On AEW Dynamite

Tommaso Ciampa made his debut on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite after his WWE contract officially expired.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Tommaso Ciampa’s WWE contract was set to expire, with him opting not to renew his deal, confirming he would be leaving the company.

Last night, Ciampa was officially removed from the WWE roster page, confirming his departure from the company, and it hasn’t taken him very long to find a new home.

On tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, TNT Champion Mark Briscoe made his latest defence of the title against El Clon.

After the match, Briscoe issued an open challenge for the title for this Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision in Arlington, Texas, with the caveat that it not be a member of the Don Callis Family.

This would lead to the lights going out, and Tommaso Ciampa making his AEW debut, accepting Briscoe’s challenge for the title on this week’s Collision show.
