It appears NXT 2.0 star Tony D’Angelo may have suffered an injury during the NXT Live Event that took place in Largo, Florida tonight.
D’Angelo wrestled Cameron Grimes on the show, but it seems like, according to fans in attendance (tweets attached at the bottom of this article), the match ended abruptly due to an arm or shoulder injury suffered by D’Angelo.
There’s no official confirmation right now regarding the severity or legitimacy of the injury, but they did have referees in the ring checking on D’Angelo after the match.
We’ll of course keep you updated with any more news as it emerges.
This was only the second show of NXT’s return to touring following last night’s show in Tampa. The next one takes place on June 24 in Jacksonville.
The next two weeks of NXT 2.0 TV were taped earlier this week and you can read full spoilers at this link.
