WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam has reacted to a call for AEW President Tony Khan to bring him in to the promotion.
Van Dam has noticed a recent movement to have him compete in an AEW ring.
On Twitter, a fan thanked Tony Khan for his treatment of legends, before requesting that the company allow fans to celebrate Rob Van Dam.
The ECW icon liked this tweet, leading to more fans calling for Van Dam to make an AEW debut.
Sharing a screenshot of Van Dam liking the original tweet, numerous fans shared their dream Van Dam vs AEW matches, with several pitching for the former WWE star to face Jeff Hardy.
Van Dam liked a number of these tweets, indicating that he would be interested in a potential AEW run.
The ex-WWE Champion made his WWE return on the April 28 edition of SmackDown to announce picks during the WWE Draft.
