AEW President Tony Khan has commented on the huge “Hall of Fame worthy” signing promised by Paul Wight on Dynamite last night.
Last night, Paul Wight announced that a massive AEW signing would be revealed at AEW Revolution this Sunday. The AEW President has confirmed that a major contract signing will take place during Sunday’s Revolution pay-per-view.
Speaking on the AEW Unrestricted podcast, Khan proved Paul Wight to be a man of his word. Calling the new signee a “huge, huge” star, they will sign a multi-year contract at Revolution.
Here is the full quote:
“A major star in the world of wrestling—a huge, huge star—is going to come and sign a multi-year contract with AEW on Sunday at the Pay-Per-View. So I can confirm what Paul (Wight) said is true.”
AEW pride themselves on their unique roster, combining young talent with seasoned veterans. It will be interesting to see who debuts during the highly anticipated Revolution pay-per-view.
Also on the Revolution card, Hikaru Shida defends the AEW Women’s Championship against the Women’s World Championship Eliminator winner Ryo Mizunami.
