AEW
A top AEW star has announced that he has now undergone successful surgery to repair herniated discs in his spinal cord.
Will Ospreay was last seen on AEW television at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view in London, with the English star revealing ahead of the show that he was set to go under the knife after the event.
Taking to Instagram, Ospreay has revealed that his surgery was a success, sending the following message to his supporters:
The road will be long, but it’ll be worth it to see you all again.
Surgery was a success.
While Ospreay had already revealed before Forbidden Door that he was undergoing surgery, The Death Riders’ Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli put an exclamation point on his absence by attacking the English star after the event’s Lights Out Steel Cage match main event – stomping Ospreay’s neck whilst it was wrapped with a steel chair.
It’s currently unclear when Ospreay will be able to return to the ring but we will provide updates on his status as they become available.
We at WrestleTalk wish Will a safe and speedy recovery.
