NJPW star Minoru Suzuki surprised AEW fans last weekend, when he made a surprise appearance on Collision.
Suzuki accepted the open challenge of Darby Allin for a fight on the show, with Darby narrowly escaping with the victory after rolling through a choke from Suzuki.
However, the Collision ring won’t be the most surprising place Suzuki will wrestle this year, as he is set for a match on a Bullet Train!
Booked by DDT, the world’s first ‘Shinkansen Wrestling’ match will take place, with Suzuki facing off against Sanshiro Takagi.
The train will be heading from Tokyo to Nagoya on September 18, 2023, with tickets on sale on August 10.
Suzuki has made several appearances for AEW in recent months, including a match at Forbidden Door, where he, Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara were defeated by Sting, Darby Allin and Tetsuya Naito.
