Top WWE Star Confirms Injury Status WWE

Top WWE star and former World Heavyweight Champion Drew McIntyre has confirmed his injury status following WrestleMania 40.

At WWE WrestleMania 40 Night Two, Drew McIntyre defeated Seth Rollins to win the World Heavyweight Championship. However, his reign didn’t last very long.

Following CM Punk attacking McIntyre during the post match, Damian Priest cashed in his Money In The Bank contract to defeat Drew and win the World Heavyweight Title.

On April 21, Drew McIntyre took to social media to post a video answering the question of why he didn’t just leave after winning the title at WrestleMania 40.

In the process of answering the question, McIntyre revealed that he is currently hurt following Mania. He said:

“For those that ask ‘why didn’t you just leave?’ If you ever amount to anything just remember, by your own logic you’re not allowed to enjoy the moment.”

“Don’t get carried away now, don’t let that adrenaline consume you, don’t do what you literally promised you would do prior and then you go ahead and do it because others might have an issue and ask stupid questions like ‘why don’t you just walk away?’”

“And oh yeah, the internet is telling the truth I’ve said it in interviews already, I am hurt but I keep pushing through because I’m not a pathetic, coward, little b**ch like CM Punk.”

During this video, Drew McIntyre explained his past actions towards CM Punk, which you can read here.
