Bobby Lashley Hopes To Reunite The Hurt Business

Bobby Lashley Hopes To Reunite The Hurt Business WWE

The All Mighty Bobby Lashley returned to WWE after 11 years away back in 2018, and this second run in the company has eclipsed even what he accomplished the first time around.

After a few years of start and stop pushes, Lashley aligned with MVP in 2020, who led him towards United States Championship glory, and later two WWE Championship victories.

During Lashley’s rise, he and MVP recruited Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander to their ranks in a group known as the Hurt Business, with Cedric and Shelton themselves capturing the Raw Tag Team Championship.

The group broke up in March 2021 on the road to WrestleMania 37. Cedric and Shelton have reunited and broken up several times in the mean time, but the group as a whole has not reunited since.

MVP and Lashley themselves broke up on the Raw after WrestleMania 38 this year, with MVP aligning with Omos instead. Lashley recently spoke to Busted Open Radio, where he admitted that he hopes to one day reunite the Hurt Business.

He said:

“Some of my closest friends, even favorites, the Hurt Business. MVP is there with Omos. Shelton Benjamin is still doing his stuff. Cedric is there. I’d like to bring that group back together at some point in time.”

Lashley lost the United States Championship to Seth Rollins on last night’s WWE Raw show after Lashley was left laying by a returning Brock Lesnar.
