IMPACT Wrestling’s newest arrival Trinity Fatu recently put all speculation surrounding her future to bed by appearing at the April 28 IMPACT tapings.
Now ditching her previous WWE moniker Naomi for her real name of Trinity, the former two-time Smackdown Women’s Champion has filed some interesting new trademarks for the next stage of her career.
She had previously filed for Trinity Starr in March, but ended up abandoning it.
Instead, she’s now filed two new trademarks, one for Trinity which is the name she’s using in IMPACT, and one for her full name Trinity Fatu.
Both new trademarks were filed with the following description:
Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestlers and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring a professional wrestler and sports entertainer in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes
Trinity was filed under the primary US classes 101 (Miscellaneous), 101 (Advertising & Business) and 107 (Education & Entertainment), and the primary international class 041 (Education & Entertainment).
Trinity Fatu was filed under the primary US classes 022 (Games, Toys & Sporting Goods) and 039 (Clothing), and the primary international class 025 (Clothing).
The night after her first appearance for IMPACT, Trinity would be supported at her in-ring debut by former WWE tag partner Mercedes Mone as well as current WWE talent Tamina.
Now that Trinity is back in the spotlight with IMPACT she would recently discuss why she chose the promotion over other competitors as well as reflect and open up on her controversial WWE exit a year ago.
