Triple H has said WWE is taking a hard look at how they can attract more fans.
Speaking with The North State Journal, Triple H said the company would “take a hard look” at how to attract fans each week. He continued by saying:
“It never is one thing. We see this as a moment in time to shift everything. I think you’ll see it in just the layout of everything, the set designs, the way it’s presented. There’s a greater emphasis on utilizing the spaces that we have and the TV aspect of it while still engaging the fans. A lot of that comes from the time we had to experiment inside the ThunderDome.”
WWE saw an increase in viewership for the most recent episodes of Raw and SmackDown. These were the first episodes of the shows with a live audience since March of 2020.
The same episode of Raw also featured Keith Lee and Karrion Kross making surprise appearances, both losing their matches. The decision was met by extreme backlash from fans wanting new stars pushed on the show.
