Two AEW stars have declared their entry into the All Elite Wrestling 2023 Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament.
On last night’s debut edition of AEW Collision (June 17) two AEW stars declared that they would be entering the Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament.
During pre-taped segments, both Powerhouse Hobbs and Ricky Starks make it clear that they would be entering the Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament.
Last year, there was both a Men’s and Women’s edition of the tournament with ultimately Adam Cole and Britt Baker emerging victorious respectively in 2022.
During an announcement by Dr. Martha Hart and Tony Khan at the AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view, the tournament conclusion date is set for an upcoming AEW Collision.
According to the announcement, the Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament will conclude on July 15th in Calgary, Alberta to coincide with the Calgary Stampede.
We will have to stay tuned to AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision to find out what other participants will be added to the upcoming tournament.
With Powerhouse Hobbs continuing his affiliation with QT Marshall and QTV, he boldly proclaimed at AEW Collision was a new chapter in the Book of Hobbs before also vowing to get back to Championship status in AEW.
