We reported earlier than Eric Bischoff is being advertised for an appearance on next week’s SmackDown Live, less than a week after he was named as the Executive Director of the blue brand.
On the same advert from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, two huge Championship matches are being advertised, despite not being advertised by WWE.
If the advert is accurate, we will be getting both Kofi Kingston vs Dolph Ziggler in a WWE Championship match, and Bayley vs Charlotte Flair in a SmackDown Live Women’s Championship match.
It does seem very unusual that WWE wouldn’t advertise these matches ahead of time, so do take these adverts with a pinch of salt. Furthermore, Kofi is now feuding with Samoa Joe and his feud with Dolph Ziggler looks to be over.
But who knows, perhaps Bischoff’s new directive will be more championship matches and more Charlotte Flair?
