Bobby Fulton
NWA legend Bobby Fulton has provided a health update after being rushed to hospital over the weekend.
On August 20, Bobby’s son Dillon confirmed that his father had been hospitalized with sepsis and has double pneumonia.
Bobby Fulton has now taken to Twitter, with a statement revealing that he’s currently on oxygen, but expects to be out of hospital this Tuesday (August 23).
The former NWA US Tag Team Champion wrote:
“They were able to get rid of the sepsis as they caught it in time. Doctors will be checking for COVID tomorrow. I’m still on oxygen as I’m still dealing with pneumonia. I appreciate all the thoughts and prayers! I hope to be out of the hospital on Tuesday.”
Fulton has been dealing with a number of health issues in recent years. He was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2019, and announced he was cancer-free in June 2020. He also underwent shoulder replacement surgery in 2021.
Fulton notably wrestled as part of the Fantastics tag-team with Tommy Rodgers, and sometimes his brother Jackie Fulton.
We wish Fulton a safe and healthy recovery.
