Bray Wyatt has not been seen on WWE television since late February, when he was taken out of action with an illness that led to his planned match with Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39 being scrapped.
Since then, there has been a lot of speculation about his status, and when he may be set to return to the ring.
In an update from Fightful Select (subscription required) when inquiring about Wyatt’s status, a WWE higher up confirmed that he is still currently sidelined, and is not cleared for action.
Fightful was told that he is still awaiting clearance, and is hopeful for a return to the company whenever the clearance is given.
Also absent from WWE television is Uncle Howdy (who is portrayed by Bo Dallas), whose creative is obviously very closely tied to that of his brother Bray.
Alexa Bliss was also reportedly scheduled to be involved with Wyatt’s creative, but she is set to miss the ram
Wyatt’s illness led to Lashley also missing WrestleMania, with him only making a brief cameo on the show after winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on SmackDown two days prior.
Fightful has not heard of any significant creative plans due to the unpredictable nature of Wyatt getting cleared to return.
