A new report has provided an update on returning WWE stars’ contracts.
On the October 10 edition of WWE Raw, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows of The Good Brothers returned to WWE to reunite The O.C. with AJ Styles and start a feud with The Judgment Day.
The Good Brothers signed with WWE in 2016 and then re-signed with the promotion in 2019. However, the duo were released in 2020 following WrestleMania 36.
Anderson and Gallows went on to sign with IMPACT Wrestling following their non-compete clause. They also made appearances with AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling while under contract with IMPACT.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows are both under five-year WWE contracts that have them set to stay with the company until late 2027.
When Fightful asked about why the deals were longer than other returning stars, one higher up noted that Triple H felt bad after The Good Brothers were released prematurely after he had helped them make the decision to stay with the company over AEW, NJPW and IMPACT.
Anderson, Gallows and AJ Styles have also been joined in The O.C. by “Michin” Mia Yim.
