Bellator MMA Star Valerie Loureda Wants WWE Match With Ronda Rousey WWE

New WWE signing Valerie Loureda has revealed that it’s her goal to face Ronda Rousey in WWE.

WWE touted the Bellator MMA star as a ‘high-ceiling talent’ earlier this week, with Loureda set to start at the WWE Performance Center on July 19.

Speaking with TMZ, Loureda stated that former UFC Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey is definitely on her radar.

When asked if there’s a specific WWE star she wants to meet in the ring, Loureda said:

“Definitely Ronda.

Loureda recalled Rousey inspiring her to take up MMA in the early 2010s, noting:

“I never watched MMA before in my life, and just so happens, Ronda was fighting, and I saw a beautiful woman fighting in a cage … and I got goosebumps.

“I said, ‘Nana, if she’s doing that, I can do it too,’ and that’s really what gave me all that fire and passion inside of me to begin my martial arts journey.

“We’re both MMA fighters and it will be a great show, I can promise you that.”

Ronda Rousey lost her SmackDown Women’s Title to Liv Morgan at Money in the Bank 2022. Numerous stars have celebrated Morgan’s victory.

WWE also confirmed that Logan Paul has signed with WWE, with the social media star reportedly coming to terms on a multi-year deal.

During his contract signing, Paul called out The Miz, who attacked him after they teamed together at WrestleMania 38.

More details have emerged on plans for Logan Paul’s WWE presentation moving forward, which you can read about right here.
