Viewership For September 17 SmackDown Revealed

The final viewership figures for the September 17 edition of SmackDown on FOX, featuring WWE Champion Big E, have been revealed.

As per Showbuzz Daily, last week’s show drew an average of 2.243 million viewers. This is down from the 2.383 million viewers the September 10 Madison Square Garden show brought in.

In the 18-49 demographic, Friday’s episode earned a 0.58 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. The previous week’s show received a 0.65 rating in the same demo.

Following his WWE Championship win on Raw, Big E made an appearance on the September 17 SmackDown, confronting Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Later on the show, Big E teamed with Finn Balor to defeat The Usos.

On tonight’s edition of Raw, Reigns and The Usos face The New Day in six man tag-team competition. It has been reported that if tonight’s show produces an impressive viewership, WWE would be open to more inter-brand appearances moving forward.
