Vince McMahon was able to catch a break today (June 20), when it was announced that a settlement was reached between he and former XFL commissioner Oliver Luck.
It was believed that the two would be going to trial on July 11, when they had failed to reach an agreement on a wrongful termination lawsuit stemming from the 2020 relaunch of the XFL.
However, in a new report from the Sports Business Journal, it is now reported that McMahon and Luck have reached a settlement after all, and the two sides will no longer be going to trial.
McMahon is, of course, still under investigations for a $3 million ‘hush payment’ to a former female employee who he allegedly had a sexual relationship with.
