Here is what happened during the chaotic AEW World Championship main event at tonight’s AEW Dynasty pay-per-view.
Tonight’s AEW Dynasty pay-per-view event was headlined by the AEW World Championship encounter between Jon Moxley and Swerve Strickland.
The match saw a lot of chaos, which included involvement from Marina Shafir and Prince Nana, with Moxley accidentally dropping Shafir during the match.
Later in the match, Hangman Adam Page came to the ring, where he teased hitting a Buckshot Lariat on either Swerve or Moxley, but before he could nail the move, he was jumped by the rest of the Death Riders.
The Opps also came out to chase off the Death Riders, before Swerve nailed the Swerve Stomp on Moxley with the referee laid out.
However, before Swerve could make the cover, the lights went out, and the Young Bucks made their return to AEW, nailing Swerve with the EVP Trigger, before Moxley covered Swerve to retain the title.
